Medina school board discusses possible reductions after levy failure

Even before the election back in March, the Medina Board of Education made plans to reduce next school year's budget by $2 million, but after the failure of the proposed 7.5 mill continuous levy, officials are looking to make an additional $2 million in cuts, totaling $4 million in reductions for the 2024-25 school year.
